Synopsis

We have an original antique print titled “19th Punjabis; Lance Naik Jat Sikh; Bangash (Pathan); Afridi of Tirah; Pathan of Upper Swat Valley (Out of Uniform); Jemadar Yusufzai (Pathan); Punjabi Musalman,” dated 1911.

The image size is approximately 9.5 x 14.0 cm (3.75 x 5.5 inches), and it’s a detailed color print depicting various figures, in fair-to-good condition. The caption on the attached tissue guard has been noted with ink, but the print itself is unmarked. Please review the scan carefully for any blemishes before purchasing, as some aging is normal with antique prints but is generally unobtrusive unless noted otherwise. We offer a no-questions-asked return policy.

This is an authentic historic print from 1911, not a modern reproduction. The reverse side is plain with nothing printed on it.

The artwork was created by Major A.C. Lovett and originally appeared in the book “The Armies of India,” painted by Major A.C. Lovett and described by Major G.F. MacMunn, published by Adam & Charles, London.
